Thank you to everyone who has been praying for my friend Leslie. She finally won her battle with cancer and has a brand new body in Heaven and is rejoicing with our King! Leslie's journey has really put life in perspective for me. What really matters? What is really important? Our faith in Jesus Christ is what matters most and what will get us through ANYTHING. Then, why don't I put enough time and energy into building this relationship with my Father? Probably selfishness, laziness, etc. By following her journey, it has changed me for the better as a wife, mother, friend, and individual. I will strive to live out these lessons in my life everyday. Thank you, Leslie! You will be missed greatly here on earth, but I rejoice with you as you walk the streets of gold!

I am so sorry to hear about Lesley. I have been "watching" her blog since first reading hers. I am sorry for your loss, and so sad for her family but at the same time inspired by the way they handled it.

I have followed Leslie & Tyson's blog since you posted the link on your blog. I am very sorry for your loss. Leslie sounds like she was an great friend to have. I have been amazed at their strength as they have dealt with this horrible disease. I am glad that Leslie is at peace, and I will continue praying for Tyson and their son.
I'm so sorry to hear this, Nichole. I feel so for her friends and family left behind, especially her husband and little boy. I pray that their faith will sustain them through this very difficult time.

Nichole, I was sorry to hear about your friend. I know how difficult it is to love someone and have to let them go. The comfort that you have is that you know she is in a better place, even tho you will miss her she will always be with you in spirit.
