Chicago!

We took a trip to Chicago this weekend and had a great time! We went up with friends, R & K, who also have a 5 year old girl, D. The little ones in each of our families stayed with their grandmas. The first big event was a trip to The American Girl Place. I hadn't been to their new location and it is amazing! Kiara picked out an outfit for her Next Generation doll and herself, so they could match. D picked out a doll. We ate at the Cafe. The Cafe is absolutely adorable! Pictures don't do it justice. We had a great waiter who made our experience even better. I can't wait to go back!

The next day, the dads took the girls to a Cubs game where they got a Cubs hat and jacket for their dolls! K and I got to shop kid free at Oak Brook Mall. Plus, we ate breakfast at Corner Bakery and had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. It was a great weekend, but it was definitely good to get home and see little V again!
