Our one year Referralversary!
October 14, 2008 was one of the most exciting days of my life! On this day, I got a call from Victoria telling us that we would be traveling to Russia and meeting our daughter on November 11th. That date is special to us because that is also the day that Kiara was born. My life on October 14th became a whirlwind that hasn't slowed down much since. But, I wouldn't have it any other way. I can't imagine life with only one child anymore. We didn't yet know anything about Vera except that she was 2 or under and in Moscow waiting for us.

This post made me smile! I will be thinking about our first trip to Russia this November. So many memories of meeting you and Ryan and traveling to various places together and yet separately. I am picturing the flat tire that your car got before our meeting at the MOE. It's hard to believe we are coming up on a year! Wow!
I totally forgot about the tire! So funny that you remembered it. I will never forget meeting you in the galley on our first plane ride to Russia!

Wow, can you believe time has gone as fast as it has??? Seems like yesterday we were having whatever it was we ate (ha!) at TGIFridays in Moscow. Vera is beautiful! :)

I remember that day so clearly. How our lives have changed so much. I can't believe a year has passed already.
Cute title! I'm going to have to remember that one! Vera is such a doll baby. She sure has blossomed into a beautiful little girl. I can't wait to see our "2" year olds have in store for us this year!
Congrats Nichole. What a year, huh. I can relate. In ways, it seems like they've always been here. I hope I do bump into you sometime. :)
