I am on a mission...


I am on a mission to lose the baby weight I gained from my now 4 year old! I figure if I don't do it now, it won't happen after we bring our next daughter home. Who knows what life will be like then! I don't have a ton to lose, but I have been trying to lose it on and off for 3 years. I would love to lose 10 pounds and if I could lose 15 I would be ecsatic. So, feel free to ask me from time to time how it is going, I need the accountability! And, if anyone has any tips on good food that will fill me up and tastes great, I am all ears!

Good for you Nichole! Eating healthy is the way to go........I've lost 17 lbs. and am still losing.

I decided a few months ago after the dossiers had been submitted that I too needed to get on a healthy program if I was going to be around to raise my two little ones when I got them home. To date, I've lost 35 lbs and slowly still losing. Tammie is right, eat healthy real food, organic if you can, and mix it up so you don't get bored. If you are hungry EAT, if you crave it, eat a little of it. Then you won't go crazy. Good luck!!

I would first sign up to get hungrygirl.com emails! they have some great food ideas and food substitutes! the other thing i would say is stop eating foods with white flour and make sure all bread/pasta and bread-like items are whole grain! other than that...fill up on water and fruit and veggies! I am on a mission to loose 100 lbs...I am ALMOST half way there. I have a ticker on my blog that tracks my progress. good luck...you can do it!
