Here are some pics of our visit with Vera today. I need to put Kiara to bed and then hopefully I will be able to write up a post. We did get bad news today that we won't be able to keep Vera during the 10 day wait. :( We will get to visit her almost everyday, but we have to take a 30 minute walk and metro ride for about a total of an hour each way. She is worth it, though. More later...

For some reason I can't stop laughing at the first picture of Vera and Kiara...Kiara looks like good ol' Kiara with a wild face on...and Vera looks like she is along for the ride...whether she likes it or not! Luckily..and maybe that's the funny party...it looks like she is enjoying it!

Glad you are there safe and sound and have been able to visit Vera already! I can't believe how much she looks like you!
Praying for smooth court processes/a lift of Vera not being with you for those 10 days/ and Kiara and her time there - so much going on for her!
